Improper Bostonian Ranks the Best of Somerville

The Improper Bostonian recently released its annual Boston’s Best issue and tucked inside the pages were several nods to our fair city. The Improper honored many Somerville businesses ranging from restaurants and bars to fashion boutiques and gyms. Here are the winners, as ranked by the Improper.

While it’s terrific to see so many Somerville businesses honored, I would have liked to see some of the squares outside of Davis get some love as well. There are top-rate restaurants and burgeoning businesses in nearly every corner of the city and hopefully as they become more established, they too will get ranked among the best in Boston.

  1. Could not agree more. Pescatore’s in Ball Square is my new favorite. In one sense, I’m glad the “hipsters”(used by people who think they are) have not been pumping this little jewel. Sometimes the lines and wait are annoying, but the addition of the outdoor seating is great.

    And by the way dear Editor………..what are you doing at 7:15 tonight?
