Scenes from Brass Union’s Launch Party

I recently had the opportunity to attend a Launch Party at Brass Union (70 Union Square), which opened earlier this summer in the former Precinct space. The bar/restaurant has gotten a swank upgrade with plush seating areas, beautiful bars and great lighting. To keep things from feeling too fancy, Brass Union has games like shuffleboard, Banangrams and Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots for patrons to play throughout the space.

No party is complete without tasty food and beverages and we were able to sample both at Brass Union. Small bites of mushroom toasts, spicy shrimp and crispy chicken wings were passed around and whet my appetite to come back for a full meal. The bar program was excellent with some fun surprises like a punch being served on tap.

I loved that Brass Union had a more upscale feel, but kept some details light and fun. After the party, I can’t wait to challenge some friends to a game of shuffleboard and sample the full dinner menu. I’ll be sure to report back when I do, but for now, here are some photos from the Launch Party.
