Weekend 1.23-1.25: Cocktail Class, Breakfast Pop-Up & Art Events

Custom cocktails have become a popular way to bring a unique twist to wedding receptions and events and you can learn to make a signature drink that appeals to your palate tonight with Booze Époque. And tomorrow you can nurse your hangover at a breakfast pop-up featuring Compliments Food Truck and Black Magic Coffee. Then sweat it out and help a good cause at The Training Room’s InnerCity Weightlifting fundraiser. On Sunday, participate in Somerville’s art scene or take in a jazz performance. Highlights from the weekend are below and a full listing of events can be found on our calendar.

With some bad weather predicted for Saturday, be sure to check in with event organizers before heading out. And don’t forget to scope out our hugely expanded and updated brunch post to find out where to dine on your morning or mid-day meal this weekend.

A Complimental Breakfast: Rise and shine! Join Compliments Food Truck and Black Magic Coffee for a breakfast pop-up at Kitchen Inc. on Saturday morning. Start your day with waffles, breakfast sandwiches, coffee and espresso drinks.

InnerCity Weightlifting Fundraiser at The Training Room: Sign up for a special cycling or sports conditioning class at The Training Room this Saturday to get in a great workout and help a good cause. Donations will be accepted for InnerCity Weighlifting, which works to empower at-risk Boston youth. Something Gud will also be on hand with healthy food and 10% of sales will go to benefit InnerCity.
